Itβs me, Selene, and welcome to today’s very special blog post, for I am celebrating my fourth anniversary of my blog, P.I.M & PINK, or in other words, my fourth “blogiversary”! π€
I sincerely hope that you all have been doing well. πβ¨
It has honestly been a while since I have done a purely written blog post like this, but in a way, it feels like home, lol. π€β¨
I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge my blogβs fourth anniversary, which was actually on September 20, 2024. π€β¨
However, I ended up not posting about my “blogiversary” that day because my sisterβs wedding actually fell on the same day as my “blogiversary”, and since then, I have also been very busy. π€β¨
And with that being said, I still wanted to take this time to thank God, my family, and those of you, my dear P.I.M PALS, for sincerely supporting my blog, P.I.M & PINK, for four years. ππ€β¨
Whether you have been here since the beginning, or you subscribed to my blog much later, I sincerely and wholeheartedly appreciate all of your love and support on my blog posts. ππ€
I will admit that my blog has been a βslow burnβ over these past four years, for it has been growing slowly but surely. π±
Furthermore, as a Christian blogger who specifically creates content about purity, innocence, and modesty from a biblical perspective, I know that not all of the information I share is popular, hence the phrase, “slow burn”.
After all, God says it Himself in the Scripture verse,π€ Isaiah 55:11 (NIV) π€ in the Bible, in which He states, “so is My Word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to me empty, but I will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” π£οΈπ€β¨
Plus, I always remind myself of the Scripture verse, π€ Galatians 6:9 (ESV) π€ in the Bible which says, “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” πͺπ€β¨
And with all of that being said, my blog since the very beginning has indeed reached, encouraged, and blessed many people who need it from all around the world, regardless of it being a “slow burn”, for I am truly so happy to be creating content for myself and all of you that you resonate with and feel encouraged by, for it is truly my heart’s desire to do so. π€β¨
And as I have stated on my blog before, I truly believe that God’s plan was for me to start this blog not only to help me but to inspire or encourage YOU. β¨
As π€ 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NIV) π€ in the Bible states, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” β¨
Also, π€ Ephesians 2:10 (NIV) π€ in the Bible states, “For we are Godβs handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” β¨
Overtime, I have also become more and more fearless throughout my blogging journey, considering the fact that I went from posting purely written blog posts at first to eventually building up the courage to posting videos of myself talking on my blog too. β¨
Recently, I even posted my first video of me singing and praising and worshiping God entitled, “My First Song Cover!“, on my blog as well, which honestly felt like another breakthrough for me. πΈπΌππ€β¨
And with that being said, before I bring this post to a close, I wanted to make a special little announcement, for I will be starting two YouTube channels, one for my blog, P.I.M & PINK, and the other will be a personal channel with a variety of content coming soon, so please look forward to new and exciting videos, blog posts, content, and special events, coming your way in the future! ππ€β¨
Overall, I am just going to continue being me and encouraging myself and others to strive to live a life of purity, innocence, and modesty that pleases and reflects the One True, Living God, Jesus Christ, and aligns with His Holy Word, even in the midst of this impure, corrupt world that we live in, for that is my personal burden and mission from God, as well as what my blog, P.I.M & PINK, is all about. π€β¨
As the theme Bible verse for my blog, P.I.M & PINK, states,
π€ Philippians 2:15 π€
β¨ “That you may be pure and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a twisted and perverse generation, among whom you shine like the stars in the sky and as lights in the world.” β¨

Therefore, as children of God, let us continue to walk on this narrow path of purity, innocence, and modesty together, even if it is not always easy or popular to do, and let us encourage one another as we are called to do by God, our Heavenly Father, with Jesus Christ, walking alongside us! π€π€
After all, Jesus Christ is the Creator and perfect LIVING example of purity, innocence, and modesty, and He gives us the strength to fight off any temptations that the devil tries to put in our way. πͺπ€β¨
Though we may stumble, we will not fall, for Jesus upholds us with His hand, as it says in π€ Psalms 37:24 (NIV) π€ in the Bible. π€π€β¨

I am celebrating my two-year anniversary (also known as “blogiversary”) of my blog, P.I.M & PINK! π€
I did not celebrate my one-year blogiversary in 2021 because I was still an infant blogger who was just focusing on building my blog. π
It all began in high school when I had the idea of starting a blog. β¨
One day, my father said that I should start a blog, and I looked at him with a smile and said, “Really, you think so?” π
As time went by, I gave it more and more thought, and eventually, I came to really like the idea of starting a blog.
So, one day, while talking with my parents, the name of my blog, “P.I.M & PINK,” was born. My mother came up with it, and I thought that it was so cute! π
All my life, I have always been passionate about protecting a childβs Purity, Innocence, and Modesty, which is what inspired the acronym, “P.I.M.” They have become three important values in my life. π€
The word, “PINK,” simply represents the fact that I have always loved pink and associated the color with soft and sweet qualities like purity, innocence, and modesty. π₯°
Once my family and I agreed on the name for my blog, I began visualizing and writing out blog post ideas. I watched videos, read articles about blogging, and found other bloggers on social media for inspiration. Eventually, I started to look at web hosting services for my blog. π βπΌ π»
On September 20, 2020, I finally decided to join WordPress.com and create my blog. However, I did not make my blog public and publish my first blog post until August 22, 2021. β¨
I spent the majority of my time in 2020 and early/mid-2021 designing my blog and writing my first set of blog posts.
In July 2021, I designed the official logo for my blog, P.I.M & PINK. The pink clam and the pearl symbolize my belief that we are all like pearls inside of a clam, pure and precious, but we always have to defend ourselves from anything that tries to corrupt, defile, or destroy us. π€
On August 22, 2021, I launched my blog publicly and published my first post called, “Welcome to P.I.M & PINK!” π
I am very thankful to God, my family, and friends who have been part of my blogging journey since the very beginning. β¨
Firstly, I want to thank God Who gave me life and the capability to even start my blog in the first place. God put this blog on my heart, and I believe that it is all part of His plan and purpose for me. Blogging has become a source of joy, passion, and healing for me, especially when I was going through a difficult time. I almost did not publish on my blogiversary date. However, I did not let my circumstance keep me from doing God’s will. π
Secondly, I want to thank my family. β¨
Father, thank you for being the first to encourage me to start a blog in the first place and introducing me to blogging courses and information that helped me properly set up my blog. π
Mother, thank you so much for taking the time to help me edit and refine my posts and for sharing my blog with the world. You were the first to insist on helping me with editing since my very first post. π
Brother, thank you so much for always encouraging me and listening to my ideas and thoughts. You always give me helpful feedback. π

Welcome to my first ever blog post for the P.I.M & PINK Blog! Thank you for stopping by this little corner in the Internet! I am so happy you could be here, and I hope you are safe and healthy. π π
The purpose of this post is to welcome you to this blog, introduce myself, explain to you the meaning of my blog’s name, and what to expect from the blog moving forward.
Firstly, who am I? I am a young college student who has a passion for art, writing, fashion, music, singing, ballet, learning foreign languages, and so much more!
Secondly, why the name P.I.M & PINK? Well, the acronym, P.I.M, stands for Purity, Innocence, and Modesty. This blog will center around the values of purity, innocence, and modesty, which I believe is important in our lives today.
The word, PINK, basically represents the fact that I love pink, and I wanted to pick a color that would convey feelings of softness, sweetness, purity, and innocence.
